I have recently started using a Dengfu bike, and so far, I’ve been really happy with the performance. However, I’ve been considering making a few upgrades and would love to get some feedback from those of you who have more experience with Dengfu bikes. Specifically, I’m thinking about improving the bike's suspension and maybe upgrading the drivetrain.
For the suspension, I’m curious about what options would provide the best balance between comfort and performance. I do a lot of mixed terrain riding, and while the stock suspension works fine, I feel like a better setup could improve the overall ride, especially on rougher paths. If anyone has any recommendations or experience with suspension upgrades, I’d really appreciate your thoughts.
As for the drivetrain, I’m looking into possibly upgrading to a higher-end groupset for smoother shifting and better overall durability. I’ve heard that upgrading to a 12-speed drivetrain could make a big difference, but I’m unsure about compatibility with the current setup. Has anyone here done a drivgoogle looker certificationetrain upgrade on their Dengfu bike? What parts would you recommend, and were there any challenges with the installation?
Lastly, I’ve been thinking about swapping out the tires for something a bit more aggressive for trail riding. If you have any suggestions for tires that would work well with Dengfu bikes, I’d love to hear your input.
